West Highland Way

The West Highland Way is a 96 miles (154 km) route which starts at Milngavie passing through Mugdock Country Park, Loch Lomond, through Glen Falloch and Strathfillan, crossing Rannoch Moor, past Buachaille Etive Mor to the head of Glencoe, descending to  the Loch Leven before entering Lairigmor and Glen Nevis.

It finishes at Gordon Square in Fort William in the very north of Scotland. For many Scottish people, walking the West Highland Way serves as a big aim in life.
However it is important to prepare yourself well before starting a jouney like this. The most important thing is that you have good shoes and experiences in doing long walks is of advantage.
